FADAN Inauguration Ceremony

FADAN Inauguration ceremony which took place on the 11th June 2016 at the  Nike Arts Gallery located at No 2, Elegushi Road, Rd roundabout ,Lekki phase 1,Lekki, Lagos.The Event started with a red carpet and pictures of the newly elected executives, members of the association,invited guests ,patrons, sponsors, families, friends and well wishers which took place by 4:00 pm and the Inauguration ceremony started 4:30 pm.Official Mc for the event,popular Award winning and super star Comedian- Mr Koffi.  Guest at the event- Senator Aghonu and wife, Prof Bamboye, Dr Oyu, Representative of Mrs Abimbola Fashola- Mrs Tijani, Director of National Arts and Culture-Mrs Akinyele,Mr Mode Nigeria high class fashionista, Honourable Desmond Elliot,  Representative from Skye Bank Plc, Representative from DA-Viva and so on.

Mrs Akinyele gave the opening Prayer,after the opening prayer,Mrs Awo was been ushered in to a give a few words. Representative of Mrs Abimbola Fashola, Mrs Tijani also gave a speech of appreciation and acknowledgement to the wonderful work of FADAN President . FADAN President, Mrs Funmi Ajila-Ladipo was ushered in , She gave a speech of appreciation to all dignitaries present,members,sponsors, business partners and everyone present at the event. She talked about been elected for a 2nd term in office and will steer the affairs of the association with the new incoming executive for the next 3 years. According to the President, Mrs. Funmi Ajila-Ladipo,the association should be seen as the connoisseur of timeless fashion and always lead the way in keeping the trends of fashion alive both past and present.She talked about FADAN which is arecognised body of the Fashion Designers profession in Nigeria, duly incorporated in 1989 by the then Federal Ministry of Trade and Corporate Affairs, it has state chapters all over the Country and ended her speech ” Sky is a starting point not the limit” and appreciation to God Almighty for making the ceremony successful and everyone who has contributed one way or the other, members of the association and every one present at the ceremony. Representative of Skye Bank gave her speech also of the banks support to the fashion industry.

The New Elected Executives were been ushered in to say their oath of office in the presence of every one present at the event. Mr Mode, Mum FADAN and Mrs Tijani were called upon to present  award medals to the executives newly elected. Mc koffi the comedian entertained the guests and every one present at the ceremony.
