The American Embassy Seminar in partnership with FADAN and Nike Arts

The American Embassy Seminar in partnership with FADAN and Nike Arts  was held on the 10 Th March 2015 at Nike Arts Gallery, 2 Nd round about by Ikate bus stop lekki, Lagos. Invited guest and speakers at the seminar: Melaine Eltruk, Ahmed Zedan, Mama Nike Arts, President of ADARA,President of FADAN- Mrs Funmi Ajila-Ladipo, US Ambassdor for Nigeria and so on.

The seminar was well attended by Members of FADAN,Members of ADARA,friends, media officers from TVC , staffs of Nike Art Gallery and the other invited person. Mrs Ahmed Zedan gave a biography about herself, coming from a muslim family and how she started fashion from school and how she began sales by selling to her friend at college who believed in her and what she can offer. She went further by given advise to designers and everyone in the house to be committed, focus,have passion in their works. Mr Melaine Eltruk spoke about the business of fashion, FADAN President also gave a speech at the seminar. She started her speech by given an introduction to the guest an acknowledgement and things that FADAN  stands for and her operations and branches nation wide, she spoke extensively on the business of fashion.Mama Nike Arts also gave a speech, she spoke on her started her business-Hawking and display at major roads and she spoke on the need to value how our African product and she gave a recognition to Modela Couture for its creativity and showcased its locally produced African cap made of local beads, The  US Ambassdor to Nigeria also gave a speech on how Fashion Business  people from Nigeria doing or selling their product in America and other countries, she gave instances on how businesses  can be done internationally.

The event closed with a closing remark, traditional display and entertainment of guests and photographs.
